Arrow Warz is an archer minigame map for two players. It uses an addon which makes arrows explosive and water just as deadly as lava. Try to kill the other player by shooting explosive arrows at his fort. If you are lucky, he might fall down into the water and die. If not, then you will just have to continue for as long it takes to one of you to win. All in all, it’s a really fun map to play!

This map can be played by a maximum of two players. Take one bow and three stacks of arrows from the chests. Then go in either direction and drop down where the sign tells you.

The objective is to kill the other player and while you are at it also destroy his fort. This can be done because your arrows are explosive.

Here are some ways to kill the other player:

As soon as a player falls down into the water he or she will start to lose health. There is no way to avoid this horrible fate.

This map is a type of minigame where you have to run and jump across a field of mines. The mines are in fact pressure plates which trigger a TNT block if stepped on. Each level looks a little bit different and we recommend that you carefully plan your route before starting as you can never stop and think during a level.

In each level the objective is to get safely over to the other side by jumping on the pressure plates. Don’t stay too long on one spot as then you will fall down to certain death.

After completing a level you should take the gold ingot and bring it to the “ender chest” to access the next level. It is not real ender chests! This works for 0.16!

Half Heart is a challenging minigame map which uses an addon to set the player’s health to just one half heart. The difference from let’s say a dropper map is that you have to plan your jumps more carefully as you are more vulnerable to heights because of your health reduction. This map contains just five short levels but it’s definitely worth playing as it’s both a unique type of map and also a lot of fun!

This map uses an addon which makes it so that your health is reduced to just one half heart. It might not look as an especially difficult or hard jump down below but seeing as I have just one half heart I have to think carefully before jumping. One wrong step and I have to start over.

Some of the levels work similar to dropper maps except that it’s more more difficult because you got much less health.

With just a little bit of health (one half of a heart to be precise) you have to complete a series of five levels which will in some way or another challenge your survival capabilities. As you’ve got just a tiny bit of health remaining you have to be extra careful where you put your foot next.

Once you’ve loaded the map you will notice that your health bar is gone. However, you do have some health left: 0.5 hearts. This means that you need to extra careful when completing a series of five levels. If you have played some parkour maps then neither of the following levels should be very difficult.

Type /spawnpoint in the text chat every time you complete a level to save a checkpoint.

This map contains 9 different minigames which are most enjoyable to play together with friends. Most of them are Minecraft versions of games you’d find in the Olympics. Some of them are actually quite clever. For example, my favorites are javelin throw, archery and athletics 100m. You can expect somewhere around 30 minutes of gameplay but it mostly depends on how many people are going to play.

Archery: Take a bow and some arrows from the chests. Then take turns to shoot at the target. Make sure to note down everyone’s score.

Boat Race: Pick your boat and then pull the lever to start the race.

Javelin Throw: Take some arrows and a bow from the chests. The trick to hit the target is by shooting up into the air.

Horse Race: Sit down on a horse and then try to complete the track before anyone else.

Athletics 100m: Sprint as fast as you can!

There are a couple of more games to explore but those I’ll leave you to discover by yourself in-game.

Notchland is one of the largest and most popular amusement parks in Minecraft and now it has been ported to Pocket Edition as well. As it’s ported some of the redstone mechanisms are broken which makes some of the attractions unusable. But since there are more than 70 different roller coasters and minigames you should most definitely be able to find something which works. If you enjoy amusement parks (and who doesn’t?) then this is a must-have!
