This map includes 17 different redstone traps which can be used to outsmart other players and steal their stuff. Basically they include some type of lure such as getting them to mine a diamond ore or open a chest. This action will then activate the trap which will either kill them or trap them in a room. Set up these traps in and around your base to protect yourself again thieves.

That’s a big chest and it probably contains lots of treasures. But as you open the chest you will be in for a surprise..

The following traps are probably the best ones as it’s almost impossible to detect it’s a trap unless you knew of it before of course. Once the diamond ore destroyed it will activate the trap.

The first one is a lava trap. Quickly get out of there or you’ll get burnt by the lava.

In this trap loads of sand will drop down from the ceiling and suffocate you.

A poisonous arrow will be shot out of the dropper.

There are more than 10 other traps to explore but most of them are quite difficult to showcase with just images so we’ll leave them for you to explore by yourself.

This map includes 20 clever redstone machines. Most of them are actually unique and the type of creations which we haven’t posted here on MCPE DL in the past. Some of them include a super fast cooker, a gambling machine and a cauldron lock door. Looking to get inspired? Then this redstone map is a safe bet! Just watch out for the gambling machine. You don’t want to lose all your emeralds!

This is supposedly the fastest cooker ever. Fill the chests with fuel and the type of items which you want to cook in the furnaces. Everything except refilling fuel and items is automated. Take the cooked items from the middle chest.

Gamble away your precious emeralds. If you are lucky you’ll win a diamond.

A simple redstone clock which will go on forever unless a block is broken.

A hidden enchantment room which can only be accessible by dropping a non-stackable item (e.g. an iron sword) on the enchantment table.

Use the arrow to select which lamp to light.

Use a water bottle to add a set amount (2, 3, 1) of water to each cauldron. If the water amount is correct then the door will open.

A much quicker clock than the one displayed before.

These are some of the most interesting machines which I could find in the map. There are more to discover but those you’ll have to check for yourself!

This map features 10 amazing piston creations. Everything from a walking robot to unique and clever bridges. If you are looking for some inspiration for your own worlds then this map is a must-have. Even if you’ve maybe seen some of them before we are almost certain it got something which you haven’t seen before!

Here are some of the redstone creations included in the map. The one seen in the first image down below is probably my favorite, and if you try it out for yourself you will probably see why!

This creation lets you hide and display a crafting table. But you can of course change the crafting table for any other block, e.g. a chest.

Here’s a very clever creation. It uses the new observer block to create a lucky block which spawns a TNT block when destroyed.

Enable a big four-legged robot which can walk and shoot fire charges.

Here’s some type of missile launcher. Pull the lever to enable the launch.

This is a slimeblock elevator powered by redstone. You select the floor level by using the arrow on an item frame and then just step into the elevator to go to the selected level. It’s really simple to build too. Have a look at the redstone and try to recreate it in one of your own worlds.

The elevator supports five different levels. You can of course add more levels to it if you intend to use it in one of your worlds.

To select a floor tap on the arrow in the item frame. In this case I decided to set it to #5. Then step into the elevator, stand on the slimeblocks and press the wooden button.

And as you can see, I was sent to the top floor (#5).

This is an amazing redstone machine which can be used for building a really simple cobblestone house. Even though it’s probably easier to build the house by hand it’s still cool to see the things which redstone really can do for you. Hopefully this machine can give you the basic guidelines for building something similar and perhaps even more advanced in your own worlds.

The cobblestone house size is a 15×15 box. It’s not the most gracious house but it’s more the automatic process of building it which is cool.

The house should take somewhere around 10-15 minutes to build. But it can be even slower than that if you have a less powerful device, e.g. an older phone.

A key functionality of the structure is the cobblestone generator.

This is the biggest and most technically advanced calculator so far created for Minecraft Pocket Edition. It supports addition, subtraction and numbers ranging from -65535 to 65535. You can make multiple additions to each set of numbers to perform more advanced calculations. The display screen is huge and displays the output answer very quickly for being such an enormous calculating machine.

In this example I decided to perform a simple calculation. First I selected 30000 on the calculator keypad. Then I pressed Subtract. Next I pressed 6000 and then Enter to output the answer on the display screen.

The resulting answer was correct (24000) as you can see down below.

The size of the redstone calculator is simply amazing. Even if a calculator seems like a simple invention it really isn’t that easy to create. Perhaps this will give you an idea of the complexity it involves.

This is a fully functional airplane entirely made out of redstone parts and slimeblocks. It can hold up to 10 passengers and can fly for an infinite amount of time which surely makes it a fuel efficient aircraft. Use this creation as a blueprint for building a similar airplane in your own world. It’s an amazing creation but with one downside. And that is that it can only fly in one direction.

Follow the orange arrows to find the airplane. Replace the orange clay block at the tail of the airplane to kickstart the engine.

Once the airplane have started to move it’s a bit more difficult to take a seat in one of the boats, but it is possible. There are seats for 10 players currently. (Two seats per boat.)

The airplane will only fly in one direction and the only way to stop it from moving is to destroy the placed redstone block.

Important: We tested this on an Android device and sometimes it didn’t work. However, it worked perfectly fine on Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta.

Here are 10 Clever Redstone Creations which can be used (or built) by users who have got the latest (0.15) version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The creations include a flying machine, traps and lots of other useful machines which mostly make use of the new observer and piston blocks but of course other redstone materials as well.

This machine is probably one of my favorite redstone machines. It’s the Minecraftian version of an airplane. Even if it can only be flown in one direction it’s definitely worth learning how to build this simple flying machine.

Here is a chest trap. Once the chest is opened the floor will be removed and replaced with lava. The perfect solution for dealing with intruders who want to steal your stuff.

That cake looks delicious. But you probably wanna think twice before getting it. Not even a delicious cake can be worth your own life, right?

This minecart trap is impossible to foresee. Once the minecart is pushed over a specific block the track cart will disappear into the ground.

Once activated this trampoline can be used for jumping amazing heights.

Besides the mentioned creations there are a couple of others but those we will leave for you to explore by yourself!

Pistons are two new blocks which have been added in the 0.15 version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. It’s still in beta and only available for Android but it will be likely be out for all operating systems very soon. A piston is a type of redstone block which can be used to push blocks (or pull if you use a sticky piston) once triggered by a redstone signal. This map is a showcase of 10 different piston creations.

Here is a piston trap. Once a player or mob steps on the pressure plate a hole opens up in the ground.

Here’s a hidden staircase which can be toggled on and off by the use of a lever.

This door is much safer than than an ordinary wood door as it can only be opened by using one of the buttons found on each side of the door.

The fence door is perfect for medieval type of builds or if you for some reason want to be able to see through the door.

Besides these four creations there are six other redstone builds which you can discover for yourself in-game!

If you are a redstone novice and are looking for new ways to improve your redstone skills then this map will educate you on how to build machines using hoppers. Hoppers are used to catch items or transport items into or away from chests. There are lots of uses for them and here we’ll have a look at 10 different machines you can build.

Place a minecart chest in the beginning of the track and then fill it with some items. Press the button to make it move forward. Once it passes over the dropper it will empty all its contents into the dropper which will transport the things into the chest.

Take some emeralds from the chest and then go to the right side of the machine. Place an emerald in the dropper and then press the button to test your luck.

Looks like I was lucky as I got an iron ingot. (Ok, I admit, I got some web and potatoes at first!)

Use the lever inside the stone structure to activate or deactive the water elevator.

Activate the clock by pressing the stone button on the side of the dropper. The lamps will start being switched on and off. Currently it seems to be no way of turning the machine off.

On each chest of the machine there’s a sign with information which information to put in each chest. However, as there is no furnace it doesn’t seem to work. The items are just being funnelled into the bottom chest, still not cooked. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update of the map.

Press the button on the right to drop some items on the track. Then press the button on the left to make the minecart move and pick up all the dropped items and automatically place them in the chest.

Place the red card in the dropper and then press the button on the right of the machine to open the door. Any of the other cards won’t work, and that’s supposed to be like so that you can see only this specific item can open the door.

After you’ve entered through the door you can take the key card from the dropper.

This is a fully automatic egg farm. Place a bunch of chickens inside the machine and then wait for them to drop eggs. Underneath the structure there are a bunch of hoppers which take the dropped eggs and funnel them to the chest.

Place the items which you’ve collected in the top chest floating in the air. If any of the items are any of the following items they will placed in its chest accordingly: diamond, iron ingot, gold ingot, emerald or quartz.
