April Fools’ Day is celebrated on April 1 every year and it’s usually done so by playing practical jokes and pranks on friends. This map showcases 13 different redstone creations. It’s great to play if you want to get some inspiration on structures which you can build in your own worlds to play pranks on your friends. Some of them are quite obvious though so you need camouflage them carefully!

Ghost Jump is one of the longest parkour maps you will ever play, and it’s not easy! But luckily, there is a checkpoint on each new level which ensures some safety even if you were to fall down and die. It’s really well designed and includes a great mix of style and challenges. It’s probably going to take somewhere around 30 minutes to complete it for most of you, but that is obviously dependent on your skill level.

This map is a fully automatic minigame called Connect 4 in which players take turn to drop sand blocks (by pressing buttons) into a huge a grid. The first player to line up four cubes wins and you can easily restart the map by pressing a restart button in the lobby. It’s very easy to get started!

Choose and team and then step one one of the two pressure plates to be teleported to the operating platform. Decide on which person to start and then take turns pressing the buttons to drop the sand cubes into the grid. The first person to get four cubes in a row wins!
You can return to the spawn by standing on the pressure plate at the operating platform. Press the Restart button to restart the map.
It is as new again!
Do you consider yourself a Minecraft expert? I kind of did until I played this map. Here you will be put on the spot and questioned about things only a true Minecraft geek ever would care to remember. If you happen to give the wrong answer there will be an epic surprise waiting for you, and it’s not a good surprise in any way.

Short after we got the 1.0.5 version released on all platforms it was announced that the 1.1.0 beta had been opened, and so far it’s limited to Android users only. The 1.1.0 version will introduce a lot new content to Minecraft Pocket Edition and this map showcases most features which exist in the current (and most early) beta version. For example, llamas, colored beds and terracotta blocks are some of the new features.

This is a creation which lets you view a preset 3D animation or create your own ones. It’s actually much more immersive than a 3D movie seeing as you will be able to view the animation from multiple different angles. It’s a fairly simple which doesn’t last more than 10 seconds or so but it’s still pretty cool.

Once you’ve entered the map there will be a button which you can press to start the 3D animation. You can move around the animation and watch through the glass as it is playing.
The preset animation is a short story about Steve building a house.
You can access the 3D animation studio to create your own animation and each square (as seen in the image down below) is an animation scene. You can rebuild it exactly as you want it as long you keep the creations limited to the square template.
This one of the best theme parks I have ever come across which is specifically created for Minecraft Pocket Edition. In the map you will find lots of different attractions such as roller coasters and even the Cinderella fairy tale castle. It’s a really cool map to explore no matter whether you’ve visted a Disney Park or not since it’s very well built and extremely detailed!

This is a really cool redstone creation which adds 9 spawn eggs which for the most part spawns some type of destruction. Double TNTs, Nuke and even Lightning Bolt are some of the dangers you will be able to spawn by using the spawn eggs. This map is primarily meant as inspiration for ideas which you can implement in your own maps you are building.

You can obtain the spawn eggs from the chest at spawn. If you break through the glass you can examine the different command blocks to get a better idea how things are connected.
By using a spawn egg you will be able to create all kinds of explosions. Here’s a double TNT explosion which was caused by the pig spawn egg. Remember to stay within a fairly close proximity of the command blocks, otherwise it might not work.
The Nuke is the most destructive explosion. It might lag your device so use cautiously.
Another cool item is the Thunder Bolt item which you can use to spawn thunder.
And yet another nifty item is the Clear Lag item which will kill all entities within a certain radius.
The Stairway is a horror map in which you will be walking aimlessly in a stairway, lonely and confused and not really sure where you are going. It takes around 5 minutes to complete and there are a few surprises in the map (but none of which I will spoil here). If you are afraid of the dark then it’s definitely going to be scary. But I think it would have been even better with some custom horror sounds.
