Music Maker

This is a really cool map which you can use to compose your own music using a huge instrument somewhat similar to a piano. You can add your own notes to a track and then listen to your own music. If you enjoy making music then this is definitely something worth checking out. There’s really not that many limits to the music you can create using this. Feel free to share your music in a video in the comments!

The black and white board is like a piano and the green carpets function similar to notes. You can place new notes (or replace current ones) by adding carpets to the board to compose your own music.

Once you are ready to listen to your masterpiece then place down a minecart on the rail track and it’ll automatically start moving in on direction and output the music.

The music maker was originally created by TheRedEngineer. You can check out his video down below.

Jurassic Park

Have you ever wanted to travel to Isla Nublar? For those who don’t know, Isla Nublar is the fictional island which is the primary setting in the Jurassic Park and the Jurassic World movies. This map is a sneak peak for something much greater to come. It features the Visitor Center and a huge forest area. In the future you’ll be able to explore it in more detail and also come face to face with the amazing dinosaurs who live on the island.

Realistic MCPE Mechanics

This is a command block creation which adds six realistic game mechanics to Minecraft Pocket Edition. All of them are great ideas which could with ease be implemented in your own worlds. However, it’s important to keep in mind that it requires command blocks and as a result you must be within a certain proximity of them for it to work.

Creator: Vladu11, Twitter Account

Tree Captitator: Let’s just admit that some things, like gravity, isn’t very accurate in Minecraft. For example, if you’ve ever tried to cut down a tree you probably have noticed that some of the blocks remain floating. However, this command block creation will automatically destroy the wood blocks above the one you break. (It doesn’t work for the leaves though.)

Grass Trails: Walk anywhere that there is grass and you will leave a trail of dirt behind you.

Lily Pads Break: A lily pad is a plant and it’s not realistic that someone (as fat as Steve) could possibly stand on it without dropping right into the water. However, this creation enables a mechanic which makes them break if a player stands on them.

You can disable and enable all of the different mechanics by using levers in-game.

There are three more of these but I’ll let you explore them by yourself in-game. (Slow on ice, slow on snow, tall plants slowness.)

The Hungry Bot

The Hungry Bot is an AI pet which loves food. Basically it’s a food eating robot which for unknown reasons has been brought to life in Minecraft. And it’s your job, as the pet owner, to feed him and make sure he always stays satisfied. The Hungry Bot doesn’t age and die so there’s really no end goal here except for continuing to feed him in all eternity. (Hopefully this isn’t the future of artificial intelligence in the real world..)

The creation was originally created by Mumbo Jumbo on the PC version for Minecraft. I couldn’t find his video about it, but at least I’ve told you that here now.

Creator: AgentCPU0, Twitter Account

Take the food items from the chest and drop them in the hopper to feed the robot. If you are playing this map on an iOS or Android device then I suggest that you switch the UI to “Classic” design in the video settings. That will make it easier to drop the food in the hopper as you are only supposed to drop one item at a time. (Don’t spam it.)

At least one redstone lamp per bar needs to be lit up in order for him to happy.

Controllable Flying House

The flying house is the ultimate solution for anyone who like owning a house but at the same time enjoy to move around and don’t be stuck to just one place. It’s also a very safe way of living since you can literally park your house in the sky and never have to worry about monsters intruding (at least not in the Overworld where there are no flying monsters).

Creator: Jhomes, Twitter Account

It looks like an ordinary house but it really isn’t. It’s a fairly small house house with just one entrance on the font. Inside you will find things such as chests.

However, the most noticeable features of the house are the 6 different buttons. They work as the control panel which can be used for flying the house. It’s recommended to stand on the edge at the window when using the buttons to avoid falling out of the house.

Press the buttons to control the direction of the house. It can go up, down and sideways so this means you can basically go anywhere you like.

It’s like a UFO!

TNT Run

This isn’t really a TNT Run map seeing as there are no TNT blocks in the map. However, it’s inspired by that type of minigame where players have to run around in an arena and avoid falling down through the floor. The map is recommended to play with others since there is a competitive element in the map.

Creator: KhoaGamingPro

The objective for each player to keep running for as long as possible. Blocks are are automatically removed underneath your feet wherever you walk inside the arena. If you stop or accidentally fall into one of the holes then you will fall down and die.

It doesn’t take more than a 5-10 seconds before things immediately get a lot more difficult.

Important: Beware, it might lag on low-end devices.

SAW Horror

It’s few maps in Minecraft which has got me scared, but this one succeeded to scare me at least two times. You’ve been kidnapped by an evil psychopath who will take you through a series of challenges where none of the available options seem good, but you must make your choices quick in order to survive this house of horror. Even though parts of the story could be improved upon it’s definitely an enjoyable (and at times scary) gameplay experience.

Simple Starter House

Are you new to Minecraft and just want some place nice to live without having to build it yourself? If that’s the case then this map is perfect for you. It spawns you at a small cottage which is situated in a plains biome. There is a river right next to the cottage which is a great spot for fishing. There are also lots of forests around the house which means you’ll never run out of resources such as wood.

The Neighborhood

The Neighborhood is one of the largest suburban neighborhoods in Minecraft Pocket Edition. There are more than 60 realistic houses and other structures. All of the homes have fully landscaped front and backyards, but there’s a downside and that’s the fact they don’t have any interiors. But as a whole it’s an amazing and very inspiring map to play!

Creator: Gatharian

All of the houses are built differently. Sure, there are some architectural similarities but none of them are copied.

Half of the fun is to explore the front and backyards. In some you will find swimming pools and in others you’ll find something completely different.

All of the houses are unique and that’s why it’s a great map to explore if you are out of ideas since it will provide lots of inspiration for builders.

Here are two images which provide a great overview of the neighborhood.

The Last Kingdom: Stonehaven, Swampton & Skrimville

This map features Stonehaven, Swampton and Skrimville which are three fantasy towns featured in one map. It is without hesitation one of the best medieval maps available for Minecraft Pocket Edition. Not only are they insanely huge but they are also incredibly detailed and I’ve literally spent over two hours exploring and yet I haven’t seen it all. shrimp1970 has spent years building these cities and the result is just astonishing!

This map features three different cities (or towns) and multiple separated structures. This post has been designed to provide you a basic outline of the different structures you can explore in this map. Use the links in the list to view a specific section of the post.

Stonehaven is a majestic fortress built into the natural terrain of a massive mountain with dramatic overhanging cliffs and epic views. On the inside of the fortress there are tens of structures which include residential houses, an armory, a throne room and much more.

Coordinates: -179, 71, 1207

All of the interiors are extremely detailed and most are designed for some kind of purpose. If you want to get the most out of it I recommend using the John Smith Legacy texture pack.

The throne room can be found in one of the big structures somewhere in the main center of Stonehaven. It’s quite hard to find, but nonetheless another great creation.

Swampton is an amazingly detailed town situated in a swamp. Boat is recommended for anyone who intend to visit as most of the houses are in the water. There are many residential houses, high-rises and bridges. You will also find an opera house, a jousting arena, a cathedral and then last (but not least) the Forbidden Palace which towers over the city.

Coordinates: 140, 64, 608

The prison of Swampton. Here you will find the most hardened criminals.

Every interior of every house is beautifully furnished and decorated.

The Forbidden Tower is an epic structure which looms over the city.

I’ve said it before, but don’t forget to check out the interiors. Everything is so amazingly detailed!

Skrimville is the second medieval town. It is located not that far from Swampton and it shouldn’t take too long to get there by foot. Back in July (2016) was the first time I tested Skrimville and it hasn’t changed much since then. It’s still just as amazing and includes every type of structure which I could possibly want and imagine in a medieval city.

Coordinates: -53, 68, 311

The Pit of Doom is really an adventure by itself. It’s a tall structure which is located basically on the border of the two cities. It’s lit up by huge torches and a moat of lava so it definitely stands out and shouldn’t be too difficult to find.

Coordinates: 90, 69, 420

Hint: Follow the water.

Don’t forget to bring your sword!

Desert Pyramid: To get there you first need to go to Skrimville and find the castle nearest the windmill. Somewhere around there you will find an entrance to the rails. Rails coordinates: 48, 16, -16.

Place a minecart on the rails and start riding. It’s going to take several minutes before you reach an end. But when you do then simply walk straight ahead down some stairs and then when you enter a room with chests take a turn to the right and walk up those stairs.

And voila! There you are! Pyramid coordinates: 2068, 70, 5.

Nether Castle: You can access the Nether through a portal which can be found in the center of Skrimville. Once you’ve arrived teleport (/teleport ) to the following coordinates: 15, 34, 102.

If you find out how to get to the castle without using the coordinates please share some instructions in the comments.

Lighthouse: You can find shrimp1970’s instructions of how to find it in the comments by clicking here. You can also just teleport there by using the following coordinates: -2873, 122, 126.

Warning: The file size for this map is quite big: ~167 MB
