10 Advanced Redstone Creations

This map includes 10 different advanced redstone creations. Some of them are essential to build at some point in time since they will allow you to more easily keep track of the different items you’ve collected throughout your life span in Minecraft. Redstone is pretty much the key to reach maximum efficiency and to be able to much quicker reach the End (in a positive way).

Wardrobe: Mix up your choice of colors for the day! Use the arrows to select among a wide range of dyed armors, step into the wardrobe and then press the button to automatically get dressed. Imagine if this existed in real life.. it would really make life so much easier!

Industrial Elevator: This is a fully automated elevator and it appears to be completely bug free. You can even call the elevator in case the door is closed simply by pressing a button.

Massive Auto Storage: Have you ever got to a point where you’ve collected more items than you ever think you’d need? Well, then it’s time to build an automatic storage machine.

Drop the items into the input chest and then have them automatically sorted in different containers. You can later get whatever items you want by pulling the levers to select them and then take them from the output chest.

OldCastle

The OldCastle is a world originally generated as an old world type. The old world type used to be the only available world format for Minecraft PE way back in time. Even though that’s a slight downside it’s still well worth checking out since it features one ginormous fantasy castle with tons of majestic rooms to explore.

And if you really want to be able to use it in your survival world you could always try to export it to an infinite world within the game. Simply edit the world and press Make Infinite. Parts of the map will look messed up but that could be fixed by terraforming.

Mini Town

Explore one of the greatest (and at the same time smallest) cities of all time in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Mini Town uses the Mini City Texture Pack which converts some of the blocks in-game to miniature skyscrapers and similar which then can be used as building blocks for creating mini cities. It’s by far the best mini city (for Pocket Edition) which I have explored and it’s definitely worth checking out.

Basic Paint

This is a really cool command block creation for anyone who likes to paint. It works much similar to MS Paint in that sense that you will be able to select among a wide range of colors and then use a paint brush to paint. However, it can sometimes be a little bit tricky seeing as you need to throw the paint at the canvas (similarly to throwing snowballs) and sometimes you might miss.

Press the button on the side of the command block creation to spawn the chest which contains the three different paint tools.

Then make sure to select a color for the paint brush.

Use the Spawn Canvas item by tapping on the ground anywhere that you want to spawn it. Then use the paint brush similarly to throwing a snowball to splash some paint on the canvas.  You can return to the command block creation at any time to select a new color. Just make sure not to forgot to disable the previous color.

Mini Egg Wars

Egg Wars is a really fun multiplayer map where the main objective is to protect a sacred egg against the attacking team. But since it does involve PvP (meaning, killing other players) you will need to find other players who are willing to participate. By looking at the size of the map I think somewhere between 2-8 players are suitable for playing this map.

As soon as you’ve entered the map you will be able learn more about the instructions and rules of the map. This map can’t be played alone since it involved killing other players. Once all players have joined the world then split up on two teams (red vs blue) and start playing.

There are a couple of things worth noticing at your base. For example, there are “ingot fountains” which will continuously generate iron ingots.

The ingots can then be traded for blocks and items at the shop. You will notice that there are also items on sale in exchange for gold ingots. Gold ingots can only be retrieved on the center island.

The main objective of the map is to protect your team’s sacred egg. But you can’t just camp and wait it out. Because to win you will need to destroy the other team’s egg.

Megacity

Megacity is a really cool city to explore. It’s especially beautiful during the night since most of the buildings include lots of lightings to make them more visible during the dark. There are lots of skyscrapers and other types of structures which can be found all over the city. But it’s far from completed as you will notice lots of empty land spaces around the place but hopefully those will be developed soon.

The Wall

The Wall is a fairly challenging parkour map where the goal is to get to the top of the wall. But to get there you will need to jump past a series of obstacles. All of the obstacles require some type of jumping and on some stages failure is punishable by death. But luckily, there are multiple checkpoints along the way. It’s a quite fun challenge if you are into parkour maps.

Late At Night (Horror)

Late At Night is a quite scary adventure map which takes place in a dark house. The lights are out and it’s your job to find a way down to the basement and repair the generator which supplies the electricity. To make things a little bit easier you’ve got a night vision camera which you can use to see in the dark, but it has a limited supply of battery so you have to use it sparingly. There are multiple jumpscares in the map so be prepared to be surprised!

The first objective is to find the night vision camera. Once you’ve found it you can use it simply by tapping with it on the ground. But since it runs on a limited amount of battery you have to make sure to use it carefully.

Hopefully that’s enough information for you to get started in the map.

The graphical user interface for the camera might only work for smaller phones. On tablets you might only see the green area.

Working Giant Piano

This is a fully working piano which can be played by stepping on the different keys. It’s a quite basic version seeing as it got just 27 keys (compared to 88 keys for a real piano) and it’s only the white keys which you can play. It’s nonetheless a fun creation to use in case you enjoy playing instruments and want to experience something similar to playing an instrument in Minecraft.

First off you need to turn on the piano. The reason why you need to do this is because it’s powered by redstone and command blocks. Use the lever on the left side of the piano to do this.

Then just start stepping on the keys to start playing. You must step on the very edge of the keys in order for it to work properly.

Troll Test 2: Terracotta Trolling

Getting trolled is usually not something positive, but don’t let that be something discouraging in this case. Here’s a really fun (and sometimes extremely frustrating) puzzle map. Let’s just say that whenever that you think you are right you are most likely wrong. It’s really easy to get fooled in this map and that’s a part of what makes it fun. Prepare yourself to get trolled!
