Remember Death

This is a puzzle map in which you will put your brain on a test. How good is actually your memory? Give this puzzle map a try to find out! There are 10 different levels and in each one you will have to try to memorize some stuff which you then will be quizzed on.

Each level consists of three rooms. In the first room which you enter you have to memorize all blocks and how they are placed. You are not allowed to make any physical notes (e.g. on a piece of paper). Everything must me memorized only by the use of your own brain.

The second room looks very much as the first one except that somewhere there will be a slight difference. In the first couple of levels it will be quite easy to spot the difference but soon it will get a lot more challenging (but it’s obviously dependent on your skill level).

In the third room you will be given a couple of different options. Press one of the buttons to select an option.

If you were correct then the door will open to the next level.

But if you were wrong then you will explode! There is no room for failures!

Tic-Tac-Toe (You vs Computer!)

Tic-tac-toe is a game where you take turns marking spaces in a 3×3 grid. To win you have to successfully place three of your markers in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row. In this map you will play against a machine which is entirely powered by redstone! I played two times and both times was a draw. It really speaks to the intelligence of the thing!

Find the room as seen in the image down below. There you will find some buttons on the floor, a couple of redstone lamps and a lever. Before you begin make sure to pull up the lever (marked red in the image) before selecting your first marker in the grid.

After you’ve selected a marker (X) it will take severals seconds (in my case around 15 seconds) for the computer (O) to make its choice. You don’t need to press any button for the computer to start. It acts automatically.

Continue until there are no spaces left in the grid. Look at the redstone lamp to see the result. In this case it got to a draw!

To play again pull down the lever, wait a few seconds and then pull it up again.

Mr Porco: The Rescue

This is a unique type of minigame where you need to save Mr Porco (which is the name of a pig) through a series of obstacle courses. You (and the pig) will be separated on two different platforms and together you will have to find a way to complete each level. You can most likely expect more than 30 minutes worth of gameplay in this map!

To start the game get a pig spawn egg from one of the chests and then place it in the chest on top of the hopper. Wait 12 seconds for the pig to spawn. If you haven’t got a carrot then make sure to grab it from one of the chests before entering the game.

Mr Porco will follow you as soon as you’ve got a carrot in your hand but there is a big gap which will keep you separated.

All through the map there are obstacles (often powered by redstone mechanisms) which might kill Mr Porco if you aren’t careful.

Here is an example of a dangerous passage where some blocks pushed Mr Porco off the cliff. If this happens you have to walk back to the last checkpoint.

After you’ve completed a level you will get to a checkpoint. There you will get new items and sometimes you will be given a mission to rescue a new type of animal.

It’s a quite long map with lots of different levels. But everything looks really cool and you will actually come across many great-looking creations throughout the map.

Diamond Dimension

The Overworld, the Nether and the End are the only three dimensions in Minecraft PE. That’s all great but imagine a dimension which was entirely made out of diamonds. If that is interesting to you then you have to give this map a try. It’s a concept which introduces the Diamond Dimension to Minecraft and what it could look like if it existed.

The spawn is in an artifical environment which is supposed to look as if it’s the Overworld. Your first little mission it to find Professor Oak’s lab, read his instructions and enter through the portal.

The portal will teleport you to the diamond dimension. Remember, this is purely just a concept and not a real dimension. It’s in fact built in a flat world in the Overworld.

In the diamond dimension you will find lots of diamond blocks and also diamond golems who protect the treasures against monsters. But don’t worry, they are friendly toward players.

Minigames II

This map is good for multiplayer use if you want to compete against friends in different challenges. Currently there is a good mix of 9 different minigames and most of them can be played an infinite amount of times (as long you refill certain dropper blocks). The map is recommended for somewhere around 2-6 players.

TNT Panic is basically a running competition which involves TNTs. There’s no time for any rest. Run as fast you can or risk blowing up!

Pull back the arrow and fire away at the minecart targets. See which player can score the most points.

Golf in Minecraft work a little bit different from reality. There are no golf clubs as you probably already know so instead you’ll be throwing the ball. It’s not actually a ball but you probably get the point.

Do you dare to step inside?

Duck Hunt is pretty much pretty much what it sounds like except that the ducks are in fact chickens.

There are four more games but those I will leave you to explore by yourself!

Medieval City

Start out your next adventure gameplay in a small medieval village. It’s beautifully designed with lots of cute little houses, farmland and other nicely designed structures. In one end of the city you will find a large portal which will get you to the Nether. It’s really the perfect map if you want to live in a city but don’t want to do the hard work of building it.

This map takes place during the dark hours of the night. You are driving by car to visit a friend at a hospital. But once you get there you notice that things aren’t normal. Blood and zombies.. what happened here? There is just one way to find out and that is by entering the building and start investigating. Soon you are taken on a journey through hell and madness.

The Living Dead

The Living Dead (most likely inspired by The Walking Dead) is an adventure map using an addon which helps create a more seamless experience in a post-apocalyptic world of zombies. The antidote for this horrible disease is somewhere in the city. It’s up to you to go and retrieve it in order to help save the world from this madness.

You slowly open your eyes and as you gradually wake up you find yourself lying in a hospital bed. “Nurse!?” Nobody is answering you. Something isn’t right. There’s a really bad smell in the room.. something smells rotten. Your memories are slowly getting back and for whatever reason you must get to the roof.

As it’s an open world adventure map I highly recommend to read all the signs to understand the storyline as you continue throughout the map.

The file size for this map is rather big as it includes a world folder, a resource pack and a behavior pack: 65 MB

The time it takes to import is heavily affected by the speed of your Internet connection.

15 Redstone & Slime Creations

This map features 15 different redstone and slime creations. The majority of the creations are ones which I haven’t seen showcased in any other redstone map before. Learn everything from how to build mobile TNT missiles to arrange decorative light shows.

Christmas is getting closer and it’s getting time to start decorate your Minecraft creations. This redstone creation is perfect for that as it provides you an example of how to create a beautiful light show just by the use of some repeaters, observers and redstone lamps.

This TNT cannon can be used for blasting yourself up into the sky. Make sure to play in creative mode otherwise there’s a great risk that you will die.

Do you need to hide something in your home but don’t want to make it too obvious with an iron door? This creation looks very much just like an ordinary fireplace. But if you pull the lever it will open and you can enter through it.

Slime elevators are much more user-friendly than ladders. Just press a button to get to the top.

The slime missiles are probably my favorites. There will be signs explaining which block to remove in order to get them to move. As soon as they hit a wall a TNT block will be ignited and explode.

There are a couple of more creations to be explored. But those I’ll leave for you to discover by yourself!

Cowboys vs Indians

Cowboys vs Indians is an old childhood game which has been recreated in Minecraft Pocket Edition. It’s a team deathmatch PvP map where you select a side and then fight the other team with everything from primitive weapons such as tomahawks (axes) to more modern ones like pistols (snowballs). It’s a great map which can be played by up to 10 players!

This map can be played by anywhere between 2 – 10 players. You can either use the gear and weapon kits provided in the map or use custom kits.

Once everyone have entered the arena then make sure that each team stand at the black line at their base.

When everyone are ready then use the text chat to start a countdown from 10.

This is team deathmatch and the objective is to kill the other team. If you get killed you are not allowed to reenter until a round has been finished.
