Dust2 (Counter-Strike)

This is a perfect replica of Dust2 which is one of the most popular maps in Counter-Strike. It’s probably only going to be interesting for people who have played Counter-Strike a lot and know the ins and outs of the map. It does include some redstone options in the beginning of the map which allow you to grab some gear and play as two different teams (Terrorists vs Counter-Terrorists).

Parkour Dimensional

Fight (or rather do parkour) to protect your world from destruction. In this map you play as some type of God who need to complete a series of six different parkour levels in order to protect the world order. It’s basically a basic parkour map but with a storyline. It should be noted that all signs are in Spanish, but we’ve done our best to translate the storyline here in this post.

You are the person who control the totems of all the dimensions in the world. One day all of the totem items were stolen by a thief. They have been hidden in each respective dimension and your mission is to go out there and retrieve them.

MiniTee

MiniTee is a miniature golf course consisting of 18 holes with an increasing difficulty. You can either play it all by yourself or compete against friends. Take turns and keep track of the score for each player to be able to select a winner by the end of the game. It uses simple redstone mechanisms to ensure nobody cheats (like tripwires) and holes are actually hopper which collect the balls (or rather snowballs).

Take a golf ball from the chest at the first hole. Then stand behind the tripwire and drop the golf ball on the course. The ball will slide on the course until it hits a stop.

Walk on to the golf green, pick up the ball and throw (or rather drop it) again. This time it dropped neatly into the hole. To really be sure, tap on the hopper (or hole) to collect the ball.

Make sure to keep count of your total strokes for each golf course. You can learn more about the scoring system by returning to the lobby and read the description there.

In total there are 18 holes which needs to be finished to complete the minigame.

The Temple of Notch

The Temple of Notch is an old map which was originally created for the PC version of Minecraft but has since then been ported to Pocket Edition. Step inside The Temple of Notch and be judged! Markus “Notch” Persson is the person who created Minecraft and then (together with other people at that time) sold it to Microsoft.

Take some gold ingots from the chest at spawn and then find the well. Throw one piece of ingot into the water and wait for the gate in front of you to open and then pass through it.

Will Notch (the father of Minecraft) accept your sacrifice and reward you with riches beyond measure or will he weep tears? Now is the moment of truth!

Don’t worry though. If he doesn’t like you the first time then you can return to spawn and reset the map and then try again.

Japanese Garden Arena

The Japanese Garden Arena is an awesome place to compete with your friends in battles to find out who is the best fighter. It has been specifically designed for 1 vs. 1 battles but you can also play it with bigger teams. The design of the arena is based on Asian architecture and it’s actually Luma’s (the creator) first time using that style to build. As a whole, it’s a pretty cool map.

Begin by selecting a team (black or white) and teleport to your team’s location which is mentioned on the sign at spawn. Gear up and then stand on the pressure plate when you are ready. The gate will open as soon as at least one person on each time stand on the pressure plates.

Find a way to kill the other team. You are only allowed to bring one weapon into the arena.

As soon as one of the teams are dead then you can return to your team’s base by pressing the button.

There are two scoreboards (each on opposite sides of the arena) which you can look at to keep track of the current score. There are five rounds in the total.

Achievement World (Challenge)

This map was created to allow you to get all of the achievements in Minecraft PE except for just one which is the Adventuring Time Achievement. The reason for that is because it’s set in a flat world. But other than that you will be able to get 71 out of 72 achievements!

First off, make sure that you are signed in to your Xbox Live (Microsoft) account. Then enter the world.

To demonstrate that this actually works please have a look at my achievements down below. As you can see I’ve only got 4/72 achievements.

For this particular example I will get the “Saddle Up” achievement.
To get it I had to tame a horse.

And as you can see, I now have the “Saddle Up” achievement and 5/72 achievements.

Let’s make this a challenge! How long did it take for you to complete all of the 71 achievements? Set a timer.

20 Piston Creations

This map includes 20 different redstone creations and all of them somehow make use of pistons. It’s a great showcase to demonstrate the great variety of things which you can build with redstone and especially piston blocks. Some of the examples include automated farms and clever hidden staircases.

Let’s have a look at a few of the different creations. Here’s an semi-automated cocoa beans farm. You will need to do the manual labor of using a lever but I suppose it’s not too much to ask, right?

Keep your stuff locked up and protected behind an iron door secured by a secret passcode.

Keep your most precious items in a secret room. To access the secret room you need to pull the lever.

Here’s some weird experience machine. Pull the lever to get tons of experience bottles thrown at you.

Circuit Scramble

Circuit Scramble is a map which is based on an Android app with the same name. There are 15 different which you need to solve to complete it. It’s a quite difficult map which is most suitable for people who enjoy solving mathematical puzzles or have basic familiarity with logic gates.

Smart Flying House

This redstone map features a nice little house which can fly. Basically it’s a machine which has been built next to the house and once started it will start pushing the house in one direction. Everything inside the house will be pushed, including blocks, entities and yourself. It’s a really clever way to move a house but also a great way of traveling.
