Notchland Amusement Park

Notchland is one of the largest and most popular amusement parks in Minecraft. There are more than 70 different attractions including everything from roller coasters to awesome minigame. If you enjoy amusement parks (which I assume most of you do) then this is really a must-play. And this is actually an official port by the original PC creators themselves.

Little Islands

This map features 21 small islands scattered around the ocean in an infinite world. You can either use the map as a survival world (and yes you can earn achievements) or you can use it to build an adventure of some kind. The edges of the ocean doesn’t connect perfect with the rest of the terrain, but that’s a minor problem which could be resolved with some in-game terraforming.

Survive as long as you can by exploring the islands and gathering their different resources. Some of the islands included are winter islands, a Nether Island and The End island.

The map was created with WorldPainter and then ported to Pocket Edition using MCCToolChest PE.

Skyblock Planet

Start out on a small planet (based on the Overworld in Minecraft) and use the resources you find to explore the rest of the galaxy and its planets. There are tons of different planets and each one look very different from the other. For example, one planet is made out of just slime blocks and another is a miniature of The End.

The main objective is to find a way to survive for as long as possible, and if you get the chance then also explore the rest of the planets in the galaxy. The spawn is on a planet most likely based on Earth of the Overworld. There you will find a chest with a few items to get you started.

As much exciting it is exploring other planets it’s also dangerous since you don’t know what these planets might hide inside.

The map took roughly three weeks to complete!

Prison Life

This map is inspired by a game in ROBLOX called Prison Life. It’s basically a multiplayer minigame where guards have to watch over prisoners and keep them from escaping the prison. It’s a quite open-ended map since there is no strict path a player must go. The only way that prisoners can win are by escaping but that also comes with a risk of getting killed.

This is a multiplayer map which is recommended for 2-6 players and it’s best if you can have the same amount of people on each team. In the map you can choose whether to be a guard or a prisoner.

It’s recommended to act somewhat realistic and try to roleplay your decisions.

New Slime Block Robots

This map features several robots which utilize blocks of redstone and slime blocks with piston mechanics to enable functionalities required for walking robots. They are not just limited to walking since they are also mounted with weapons which let them shoot TNT blocks at their enemies. There are six different robots in total and one of them is based on the Mech Master Nine Million in Minecraft Story Mode.

To start the engine for a robot find the part that has 3 observer blocks forming a small upside down triangle with their input side facing toward the player and another lone observer block above which has its input side facing you. Click the “Face” of the lone observer block with a flint & steel to activate the sticky piston and start the robot.

 

To stop it you can break the slime blocks being pulled by the sticky piston behind the observer which you activated or place an obsidian block in front of the slime blocks which are being pulled by the same sticky piston.

To activate the missile launcher make sure that you stopped the engine otherwise, it will mess up and from the engine/the designated cockpit, place a redstone block/redstone torch below or on the piston facing upward (toward the missile) with an observer on it’s face and it is important that you remove the redstone block or redstone torch that you placed after launching the missile before you start the engine again.

Fatal Fortress: The End

Fatal Fortress: The End is an RPG adventure map in which you’ll play as a character who come across an old mansion in the deep and dark forests of Minecraft. You decide to explore it but that decision is most likely something you’re soon to regret. Inside the mansion you will find deadly traps, puzzles and other difficult obstacles.

Desolation

This is a custom terrain which has been built to be used as a survival world. You’ll spawn on a medium sized island and surrounding the main island are a couple of other small islands. There are no structures on the islands so you will need to build everything from scratch. There are no set objectives or quests so you will have to make them up as you go.

It’s a really nice terrain which was most likely built using WorldPainter and then ported to the bedrock version of Minecraft. I might actually make a tutorial for it later at some point.

One downside is that it isn’t built in an infinite world. It could have been done though if it was ported a bit differently though, so maybe that will happen in an update.

Old Village

This map features a huge floating island floating somewhere in the sky. Anywhere around is just air so there’s no terrain or anything surrounding it. It doesn’t seem to be meant for anything specific but some suggestions could be PvP or just using it as a survival island similar to skyblock. On the island there is an old village and some custom made mountains.

Dead by Daylight PE

Dead by Daylight PE is a multiplayer survival minigame based on a video game with the same name. The map features a 100 x 100 blocks game area where survivors have to activate 5 different generators to be able to open a gate and escape. All of this needs to happen while avoiding and hiding from the Killer (which is a role assigned for another player).

This map is recommended for 2-5 players. Wait in the lobby for everyone to spawn before assigning everyone a role. The most fair option is to randomize the killer.

The minigame takes place in an old forest (100×100 blocks) in the middle of the night. The killer’s task is to slay the other players.

Survivors have to continuously run from one generator to another to activate them.

Stay near the generators when activating them.

You’ll know it is powered when it lights up. Then the survivors will need to activate the remaining generators.

The gate will only be able to open once the survivors have activate all five generators.
