The Living Dead

The Living Dead (most likely inspired by The Walking Dead) is an adventure map using an addon which helps create a more seamless experience in a post-apocalyptic world of zombies. The antidote for this horrible disease is somewhere in the city. It’s up to you to go and retrieve it in order to help save the world from this madness.

You slowly open your eyes and as you gradually wake up you find yourself lying in a hospital bed. “Nurse!?” Nobody is answering you. Something isn’t right. There’s a really bad smell in the room.. something smells rotten. Your memories are slowly getting back and for whatever reason you must get to the roof.

As it’s an open world adventure map I highly recommend to read all the signs to understand the storyline as you continue throughout the map.

The file size for this map is rather big as it includes a world folder, a resource pack and a behavior pack: 65 MB

The time it takes to import is heavily affected by the speed of your Internet connection.

15 Redstone & Slime Creations

This map features 15 different redstone and slime creations. The majority of the creations are ones which I haven’t seen showcased in any other redstone map before. Learn everything from how to build mobile TNT missiles to arrange decorative light shows.

Christmas is getting closer and it’s getting time to start decorate your Minecraft creations. This redstone creation is perfect for that as it provides you an example of how to create a beautiful light show just by the use of some repeaters, observers and redstone lamps.

This TNT cannon can be used for blasting yourself up into the sky. Make sure to play in creative mode otherwise there’s a great risk that you will die.

Do you need to hide something in your home but don’t want to make it too obvious with an iron door? This creation looks very much just like an ordinary fireplace. But if you pull the lever it will open and you can enter through it.

Slime elevators are much more user-friendly than ladders. Just press a button to get to the top.

The slime missiles are probably my favorites. There will be signs explaining which block to remove in order to get them to move. As soon as they hit a wall a TNT block will be ignited and explode.

There are a couple of more creations to be explored. But those I’ll leave for you to discover by yourself!

Cowboys vs Indians

Cowboys vs Indians is an old childhood game which has been recreated in Minecraft Pocket Edition. It’s a team deathmatch PvP map where you select a side and then fight the other team with everything from primitive weapons such as tomahawks (axes) to more modern ones like pistols (snowballs). It’s a great map which can be played by up to 10 players!

This map can be played by anywhere between 2 – 10 players. You can either use the gear and weapon kits provided in the map or use custom kits.

Once everyone have entered the arena then make sure that each team stand at the black line at their base.

When everyone are ready then use the text chat to start a countdown from 10.

This is team deathmatch and the objective is to kill the other team. If you get killed you are not allowed to reenter until a round has been finished.

Bikini Bottom (SpongeBob)

Bikini Bottom is the city and main setting for the SpongeBob SquarePants animated TV series. This map includes everything from SpongeBob’s own pineapple house to the Bikini Bottom Mall. If you’ve ever watched it on TV then we can guarantee you will find many similarities to this Minecraft Pocket Edition map.  To really get in a SpongeBob mood we recommend that you download a SpongeBob skin!

Basic TV

Inspired by: MrPogz Zamora, YouTube

As soon as you’ve entered the world you will notice that you’ve spawned in front of a house. Enter the house to find the TV. The TV is very basic as it shows just one program and there is no sound.

Have a seat and watch some TV after a long day of adventures. There is just one TV program and it’s not too exciting but it’s still pretty cool.

Here’s a video which showcases the TV. I edited the resource pack to improve it but I still want to give full credits to the original creator.

Working Huge Furnace

This redstone creation works just the same as an ordinary furnace except that it’s at least hundred times bigger and entirely powered by different types of redstone mechanisms. You can insert anything from iron ores to raw fish and get back cooked fish or iron ingots. This map is really cool just to try out but it can also be used to educate yourself on redstone.

The furnace works much similar to a small furnace. It has two inputs for fuel and raw materials and one output for smelted items.

Begin by dropping some fuel (e.g. coal) in the hoppers. Then find the other hoppers for the secondary input (food/ores) and drop the items which you want to smelt there.

As soon as that’s done the furnace will start working. You can see if it’s actively working by checking if the fire is on (redstone lamps turned on) in the bottom of the structure.

You can collect the smelted/cooked items in the center of the structure. The chest is only visible if there are any items available in the chest. It will automatically be hidden again if it’s empty.

You can see the inside of the furnace by looking at the back of the furnace. It’s covered by a glass but it’s easy to break if you want to have a closer look inside.

It’s a really cool creation which works just the same as an ordinary furnace. It’s most definitely worth a try if you like clever machines!

The Prison Break

The Prison Break is a map inspired by the Prison Break TV series. Your brother was sent to prison after trying to rob a bank and your mission is to try to save him. Not only will you help him escape prison but you will also go through with a bank robbery and escape by helicopter. It’s one of the most clever maps I’ve tested MCPE DL and it is definitely worth playing if you enjoy some intense action, clever puzzles and an intriguing story.

A few months ago your brother, Ryan Cooper, was incarcerated in Fox River State Prison after being caught trying to rob the Bank of Minecraft. Your name is Mike Cooper and you have decided to help your brother escape prison.

Not only because he’s your a beloved brother but also because he knows the code combination that’s required for robbing the bank. And just like him, you love diamonds a little too much, and can’t resist the thought of being rich.

Grab the gear, gunpowder and compass from one of the chests at spawn. Put on the gear and use the compass to locate the supermarket. Read the signs to continue through the map.

It’s not easy to escape prison. One of the challenges include crawling through a vent.

The bank includes multiple puzzles which needs to be solved before accessing the vault.

Tripwires are connected to alarms (redstone lamps). Make sure not to trip!

KeepJumping

To survive this map there is just one thing you have to remember and that is to Keep Jumping! To get from start to finish you need to jump on pressure plates. Once you’ve stood on a pressure plate it will make the block beneath it disappear. This means you’ve always gotta keep moving. It’s a perfect map for anyone who’s up for a hard and intense challenge.

Jump from one pressure plate to another until you reach a checkpoint.

Once you’ve reached a checkpoint then open the text chat and type the following command to save your checkpoint: /spawnpoint

If you are killed you will spawn back here and you can then can restart the level. There are six different checkpoints throughout the map.

Skyner’s Mob Arena

This is a monster battle arena which can be played by 1-4 players. It’s a great map to play if you want to improve on your teamwork skills as it requires you to work effeciently in order to kill the monsters and complete the map. There are four different levels and in each one you will have to fight a ton of monsters. It might not the be best looking map but it is really fun to play anyways!

This map can be played by anywhere between 1-4 players. Before entering the arena make sure to grab the items which can be found in your player’s chest.

Once you are ready to begin drop into the water to access the arena. Then enter the first room on the right and press the button on the diamond block to start the first wave of monsters. As soon you’ve pressed the button you’ve got a few seconds to leave the room as it soon will be filled with gravel.

The monsters spawn in the center of the arena. The objective is to kill the monsters and then continue with the second, third and fourth round to complete the map.

Half Heart Race

Half Heart Race is a minigame race in which you have to compete against other players in a short obstacle course to come first to the finish line. The thing that makes it difficult is that you only got one half of heart left so this means that as soon you get hurt you will die immediately.

This map can be played by max four players. Stand on one side each and then press the stone button to open the gate. Once it’s opened it’s time to start moving through the obstacles course. Remember, you’ve only got one half of a heart left so you got to move carefully and not lose any health.
