The NXUS Modern City

The NXUS Modern City is a futuristic city designed in a white theme. Here and there we can see colors such as blue and green to break the otherwise white theme which is a great improvement of the city. In the map you will find everything from a big campus with apartment complexes to public parks with beautiful flowers and fountains.

The city was the first one NXUS created and we can see a drastic increase in his incredible building skills in his later build commonly known as the Modern Architecture Series. The NXUS Modern City is still one of the best looking futuristic cities with an incredible attention to detail both on the outside but especially if you have a look at the interiors.

Roman Gladiators Arena

This is a Roman gladiatorial arena probably inspired by magnificent ones such as Colosseum in Rome which back in the day (or to be more precise, AD 60-70) was used for gladiatorial battles. Basically it was the ancient version of entertainment television but obviously more brutal and something neither of today’s people’s stomachs would stand a chance watching if they were teleported back in a time machine.

The arena as seen in the images is beautifully made with a great deal of details. It’s quite small though and the surrounding area is just made up out of a flat landscape.

Modern Hotel

This creation consists of a big, luxurious hotel in an exotic environment with palm trees and swimming pools. As it’s a ported map the surrounding area is just flat landscapes but it acts as a nice place to continue building a big city.

It’s especially the exterior that makes the build feel modern and luxurious. As soon we got inside the building everything felt a bit crowded. But if you are looking to get inspiration for your own modern builds then this map can definitely be helpful.

Norwegian Pearl

The Norwegian Pearl is a real life Jewel class (meaning, super big and a luxurious) ship. Here is a replica of just that ship. The decks and interiors consist of everything one could dream of: swimming pools with water slides, top-notch restaurants, luxurious suites and much more.

Monopoly

Monopoly is an old, classic board game which has now been recreated in Minecraft Pocket Edition. The map does require the use of a physical dice but other than that it’s quite self-sufficient. The minigame rules and gameplay works almost the same to how the real life board game works. It can be played with up to 8 players where one banker is needed at the least.

Redstone Vending Machine

The vending machine lets you pick from four different animals and once you press to the go button the machine will “process” the animals for you and give you whatever loot they drop.

This map requires Byteandahalf’s PocketPower mod for Android so make sure to have that installed before launching the map.

Take a look and see what kind of food you want.

Use the levers on the vending machine to pick and then press the “GO!” button.

After about 30 seconds your food will be delivered. In this case we got a raw porkchop and some leather.

It’s a high technology machine which on the outside might not look so advanced, but if you take a peek inside you can see that the processing is harder than what the outside tells you.

GTA San Andreas

This is a ported map from PC which is a replica of San Andreas in Minecraft. It’s only the center of Los Santos which appears to have made its way into the creation as other parts of the city is non-existent.

The creation is spot on and resembles just the way it looks in San Andreas. As an old GTA player it was surely a nostalgic trip which we are sure anyone with the slightest familarity with the game will enjoy!

Claustrum

Claustrum is a mysterious freeroaming CTM (complete the monument) adventure. You’ll spawn in what seems as a cold and empty world where you have to survive the best way you can to hopefully find your way home.

It’s a fun adventure map with a mysterious feel. Read the story to get a scary and exciting feel about the map before joining in.

If you want to, it can be played with a friend. It’s recommended to be played by 1-4 players.

A cold wind brushes against your rough face. You are slowly waking up from a bad dream and your body aches. Slowly you get up, jerking your head in several directions, trying to figure out where you are. Nothing about this place seems familiar. Everything feel so cold. One thing you do know for sure is that you want to return.. return home.

Everywhere you look there are high, sturdy mountains reaching the clouds. The wind is howling and the waves are rough. Somewhere in the far you can see structures looking like prisons.

You notice a note, but it’s confusing, and not giving much of an idea what’s going on..

“You are stuck here, yes. But there is a way out. Find each key to unlock your freedom. But do remember, there are things around here that you will encounter. And those things, aren’t always pretty.”

The note sends shivers down your spine. You feel alone. Alone in a world you don’t recognize. You don’t want to be here and the only way is to get started. Started on an adventure which must lead you home!

CTM maps aren’t as common as other maps so you might wonder what that is? Well, CTM is short for complete the monument.

They are similar to adventure maps except for that they don’t follow any strict mission. Sometimes there might be signs and stuff hinting about something but you are never “forced” to go anywhere in CTM maps unless you want to yourself.

The main thing in these kind of maps is exploring. As you can see in the images there are lots of different islands and sections of the map which look quite mysterious and interesting which hopefully should lead you to explore those places.

Goenitz’s Galeon

The Goenitz’s Galeon is a majestic ship with a crew consisting of villagers and yourself as a captain if you decide to test the map yourself.

It’s a really big ship with lots of rooms and recesses to explore on lower deck. The surrounding area of the ship consists mostly of water but with a few landmasses. It should be mentioned that the world is created in an old world type which means the world is limited to 256×256 blocks in size.

Explorer’s Ruins

In the map you play as a person who have for years been searching for a legendary temple and now seems to be the time when you have found it. The map consists of a mysterious adventure where you have to do parkour, find your way through mazes and fight zombies, skeletons and spiders to get through the different obstacles. It’s a fun map with lots of surprises!
