The Obstacles (Horse Racing)

The Obstacles is so far the largest horse racing track for Minecraft Pocket Edition. It features a big obstacle course with loads of obstacles. Some of the set traps are deadly so you really need to be focused and stay alert while riding. Not only does it offer a great challenge but it also looks really cool.

Begin by choosing one horse each and then find your way to the start point of the horse track. Once all players have come then it’s time to start.

Race through the obstacle course and try to avoid the deadly traps.

The racing track is huge. It should take at least 5-10 minutes to complete one lap but it of course depends on your riding skills.

Slimeblock Megaplane

This is a fully functional airplane entirely made out of redstone parts and slimeblocks. It can hold up to 10 passengers and can fly for an infinite amount of time which surely makes it a fuel efficient aircraft. Use this creation as a blueprint for building a similar airplane in your own world. It’s an amazing creation but with one downside. And that is that it can only fly in one direction.

Follow the orange arrows to find the airplane. Replace the orange clay block at the tail of the airplane to kickstart the engine.

Once the airplane have started to move it’s a bit more difficult to take a seat in one of the boats, but it is possible. There are seats for 10 players currently. (Two seats per boat.)

The airplane will only fly in one direction and the only way to stop it from moving is to destroy the placed redstone block.

Important: We tested this on an Android device and sometimes it didn’t work. However, it worked perfectly fine on Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta.

Sewer Boat Race

Compete against your friends in a sewer race and find out who will win the honorable title as the sewer rat champion. Grab one of the boats from the chest and set it down in the water. Wait for all players to join before starting the race. There are some shortcuts throughout the map but we won’t spoil them here. Don’t play it alone. Get some friends to play the map with and you will have a much better time.

Spooky

Spooky is one of the first really good adventure maps which uses the new redstone features in version 0.15 of Minecraft PE. There are four different challenges in the map and they include parkour, find the lever, a maze and lastly a boss battle. It’s a really well designed map which lets you explore some of the new possibilities in Minecraft while having fun.

Dropper IB

Dropper IB is minigame with four different levels. Even though it’s a fairly small map it’s definitely worth to play if you enjoy dropper maps. Basically the objective in each level is to drop down and do your best to avoid the obstacles and to try to land in the water. Use the items in the chest to get back to the top of the structure to then move onto the next level.

The Last Room

The Last Room is a redstone puzzle map with 10 different levels consisting of different redstone challenges. Levers, repeaters and pistons are just few of the redstone blocks which have been used to create this challenging map. This map is suitable for both redstone pros and beginners because either way it’s a great way to freshen up your skills. Try your best to solve the puzzles and see if you can get to the last room.

Lava Jumps

Lava Jumps is a map containing 40 challenges mostly related to parkour. Most levels are fairly easy to complete and they are for the most past not too long either. There are some dropper levels which is a challenge where you need to drop down into a tunnel, avoid possible obstacles and try to land safely on the ground either on slime blocks, cobweb or water. It’s a really great map with lots of fun levels!

20 Ways to Die (Modded Map!)

20 Ways to Die is a puzzle map where the objective in each level is to figure out a way to die. It’s an unusual way to level up but it definitely creates a unique experience. If things get too difficult there is a hint button in each level which you can use but try to refrain from using it as much as possible.

10 Piston Creations

Pistons are two new blocks which have been added in the 0.15 version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. It’s still in beta and only available for Android but it will be likely be out for all operating systems very soon. A piston is a type of redstone block which can be used to push blocks (or pull if you use a sticky piston) once triggered by a redstone signal. This map is a showcase of 10 different piston creations.

Here is a piston trap. Once a player or mob steps on the pressure plate a hole opens up in the ground.

Here’s a hidden staircase which can be toggled on and off by the use of a lever.

This door is much safer than than an ordinary wood door as it can only be opened by using one of the buttons found on each side of the door.

The fence door is perfect for medieval type of builds or if you for some reason want to be able to see through the door.

Besides these four creations there are six other redstone builds which you can discover for yourself in-game!

10 Clever Redstone Creations

Here are 10 Clever Redstone Creations which can be used (or built) by users who have got the latest (0.15) version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The creations include a flying machine, traps and lots of other useful machines which mostly make use of the new observer and piston blocks but of course other redstone materials as well.

This machine is probably one of my favorite redstone machines. It’s the Minecraftian version of an airplane. Even if it can only be flown in one direction it’s definitely worth learning how to build this simple flying machine.

Here is a chest trap. Once the chest is opened the floor will be removed and replaced with lava. The perfect solution for dealing with intruders who want to steal your stuff.

That cake looks delicious. But you probably wanna think twice before getting it. Not even a delicious cake can be worth your own life, right?

This minecart trap is impossible to foresee. Once the minecart is pushed over a specific block the track cart will disappear into the ground.

Once activated this trampoline can be used for jumping amazing heights.

Besides the mentioned creations there are a couple of others but those we will leave for you to explore by yourself!
