4 Fireworks

This map features four different firework structures which can be used as a blueprint or inspiration to build something similar (or maybe even more epic) in your own worlds. It’s time to celebrate the new (and old) year and perhaps this map can help you to do that a bit more epic fashion in Minecraft.

This creation is constructed by dispensers which dispenses experience bottles. They don’t go far up into the sky but it still looks really cool.

Watch out! This one is using fire charges. It’s especially beautiful during the night.

This firework launch platform shoots arrows up into the sky. They are quite difficult to see during the night so make sure to set time to day (/time set day)

And the last launch pad shoots snowballs up into the sky. It’s not as cool as the other fireworks but it’s still worth testing out.

There are four different fireworks in total and they are all built in a flat world. However, the point of this map is to get some idea how to build something similar in your own worlds.

Santa Story

Santa has sent you on a mission to find and retrieve one of his presents which he as lost. This is a disaster because if you don’t find it then someone will be without a present and nobody likes that, right? To complete this map you have to go through a long series of challenges mostly consisting of parkour. There are also some other games but you should really enjoy parkour if you want to have a good time in this map.

Lava Escape

You’ve found some treasures but while doing so you set of an alarm which triggered the lava defence system. This map sets you up for an intense challenge where you need to complete three different parkour courses while trying to escape lava which is pouring down from the ceiling. If you aren’t quick enough you will die!

In each level you will have about a 30 seconds head start before the lava comes falling from the ceiling. If it was just running it would have been easy but each level consists of a parkour course which you must complete in order to escape the level. And once you complete one level you quickly gotta get going on the next one before the lava catches up.

Simple Redstone 2

This is a map which features somewhere around 10 different redstone machines and the best thing is that all of them are very easy to build. Get some inspiration of what kind of machines you can build in your own world. Most of the machines are explained with a brief text so make sure to read the signs in-game.

Here are a few of the redstone machines which you will find in-game.

Manual Beacon Beam Power: Use the levers to control which potion effect to enable.

Trading Machine: Trade your food for diamonds.

Unlimited Water Collector: Fill up your empty buckets!

Cobblestone Generator: Do you think it is boring to mine cobblestone? I do too, but with this machine you can automatically generate cobblestone.

There are multiple different redstone structures to explore.

Just when you think you’ve seen everything there are still some things left to see. For example, there is one hidden elytra course in the map.

Hidden Treasure

This is a short adventure map where your abilities will be put to a test to see if you’ve got what it takes to obtain a sacred treasure. It’s a quite fun map where you have to play through three different levels. Personally, I don’t think it’s a difficult map and I would expect it would take on average 15-20 minutes to complete. I won’t tell you about the end but it’s definitely something different!

Batman: Arkham Knight Batcave

This is a creation which is based on the design of the Batcave in the Batman: Arkham Knight video game. This is the best version of the Batcave which I’ve come across for Minecraft Pocket Edition. It really looks like a cave but with a lot of high-technology stuff which you would expect to find in Batman’s headquarters. Even if you haven’t played the game (like me) it’s still really fun to explore!

The spawn is in front of the Batcave entrance. Press the button on the right side of the entrance to close it and vice versa.

The Batcave couldn’t be complete without the Batmobile. You will find it parked inside the Batcave along with several other vehicles.

Here is the famous Batsuit. It is non-textued and looks like a diamond armor.

Sleepy? No problems. In one of the hallways you will find an entrance to a sleeping chamber with beds for two people.

Paradiscal’s Paintball

Paintball is a type of game where players have to shoot other players and by doing this take out the other team. This game doesn’t work exactly as in real life as here you will be able to kill other players which for obvious reasons aren’t possible in real life.

This map includes an addon which turns the snowball into a paintball gun. The aim is set to infinite range and will hit the target exactly where you aimed.

You will need at least two players to play this map. Let two of the players stand on one pressure plate each to access a hidden lever. Pull the lever to open the front gate and you will be able to access the arena.

Before entering the paintball arena make sure to give everyone some ammunition by typing the following text command: /give @a snowball 300

It’s up to you whether you want to play team deathmatch or normal deathmatch. Just make sure to spread out in the arena and not stand too close to an enemy. No one is allowed to start firing until the game has started.

To make sure everyone are ready start a countdown from 10 before starting.

If you get hit by a paintball pellet you will lose 1 heart. Once you are dead you are not allowed to enter the arena until it’s time for the next round.

Elytra Christmas

Elytra Christmas is a great map to play during the holidays as it’s set in a Christmas-themed environment. Put on a pair of elytra wings and get ready for some flying action. You can either play it alone or challenge some friends. The map consists of one long fixed course which includes challenges such as tunnels which you have to fly through and other obstacles.

Make sure to grab a pair and then equip it in the chestplate armor slot before you start! Once you’ve jumped off the ledge then press jump again to start gliding. The objective is simply to complete all the different levels.

Christmas Theme Park

This map features a small Christmas-themed amusement park. It includes multiple minigames, plenty of roller coasters and everything you might need to entertain yourself during the Christmas holidays. All of the creations are very compact and small but it’s nonetheless a great theme park worth exploring.

You won’t get enough of the roller coasters! There are several of them and they look like plenty of fun!

Santa’s sleigh. Can you get up there?

Are you up for some miniature golf?

End your visit to the theme park by a duel of fight to the death. It’s not exactly the best way to end the day but it’s actually more fun than what it sounds dreary.

Gingerbread House

Start your next adventure in a snowy winter world. This map includes a life-sized gingerbread house, a Christmas tree and some presents. Around the house you will find a beautiful winter landscape consisting largely of snow and ice spikes. If you want to get in a Christmas mood then give this map a try!
