DanTDM’s Lab

DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart) is one of the biggest Minecraft YouTubers out there. This map is a replica of the new lab which Dan uses in his Let’s Play videos in which he is usually accompanied by his loyal companion Dr. Trayaurus.

There is one downside though. It’s built in a flat world and this means that you can’t really use it for a survival adventure. Other than that it is really cool map to explore if you are a fan of The Diamond Minecart!

Sumo!

This is a minigame map which is recommended for two players. The objective is to use a sword to knock off the other player from a platform. It’s inspired by sumo wrestling but this is obviously a simplified version of that. Don’t expect anything huge or amazing. It’s just a fun and clever little minigame!

There are no specific guidelines which you must follow but let me explain the idea of the map.

In the lobby area you will find two different chests. One of the chests contain Wooden Swords (Knockback II). Let each player retrieve a sword from the chest, take the trapdoor from the other chest and the jump down into the arena.

Place the trapdoors over the water. The water was just necessary to make sure you wouldn’t lose any health when jumping down into the arena.

Stand in the center of the arena and face your opponent.

Half Heart Survival 2

The objective of the map is to complete 10 levels of parkour without dying. There are no checkpoints so this will most likely be one of the hardest parkour maps you ever play. And to make things even harder your health has been reduced to one half heart. One wrong step and you are dead and have to start over.

As soon as you’ve loaded the world make sure that there is a behavior pack enabled. Go to Settings and then press the Behavior Packs button to check this.

The included addon sets your health to one half heart.

House of Horrors

The House of Horrors was created by the Mojang team and released during Halloween. Ghosts, ghouls and weeping angels are some of the creatures which are found living in this house of hell. But the main things which I think make it scary are the hidden traps and background noises.

There’s no storyline to go along with the map but it’s easy to make up your own as you step through the door and start exploring the house.

The house is occupied by many different creatures and most of them have a specific dislike for miners.

10 Ways to Die

10 Ways to Die is all about dying. There are 10 different levels and in each one the objective is to find a way to end your life. It might not sound like a great idea but it’s actually a quite fun puzzle map to play. As you progress through the map things get more difficult and there might even be times where you doubt your abilities to complete it.

This map makes use of some of the new text commands which was introduced in 0.16.0 of Minecraft Pocket Edition. For example, to get to a new level you will have to use a teleport command. And to set your spawn point you need to use another text command. Everything is explained by signs in-game. Here are two of the levels in the map. There are very few instructions in the actual levels. This is to make the challenges as difficult as possible.

Dropper IB 3

Dropper IB 3 introduces 14 dropper levels of varied difficulty. The objective is to drop down and avoid all obstacles and then ultimately splash down into the water. Usually the area of the water consists of just one block so you must carefully choose your falling path to complete the level. It’s a really enjoyable map to play and if you enjoy this one make sure to check out the other dropper maps.

Hunting Territory

Hunting Territory is a really fun minigame and PvP map which requires at least two players. There are hunter(s) and prey. Hunters are supposed to use bow and arrows to shoot down the prey and if you are prey you will have to do your best to try to get to the finish line unharmed.

Dropper IB 4

Dropper IB 4 is a fun dropper map consisting of 16 different levels. If you’re an experienced player then this map will be fairly easy to complete, at least the first couple of levels. It’s a really good looking map with some levels which have a really cool style and pattern. Total playtime should be somewhere around 20 minutes, obviously depending on your skill level.

Modern Mountain Home

This map features an amazing house embedded in a mountain. It’s a very luxurious house with a really impressive exterior as well as an interior packed with amazing furniture and designs. It’s built in a infinite survival world so it’s perfect to use for your next survival adventures if you want a bit more extravagant living.
