Sarah’s Curse (Horror!)

Sarah’s Curse is an adventure map in which you will find yourself in an old mine and have to find a way out and escape. Blood on the floor, cobweb on the walls and jumpscares when you least expect them. There is really no way around the fact that the atmosphere is extremely creepy. Anyone with a sense of primal survival will get scared, that’s for sure.

DanTDM’s Lab (Infinite World)

DanTDM (TheDiamondMinecart) is one of the biggest YouTubers in the Minecraft community with millions of followers all over the world. This map includes a replica of the lab which is often featured in DanTDM’s videos. There have been a few similar maps posted here in the past but this is so far the best one since it’s bug free and is built in an infinite world. This means that you can use DanTDM’s lab as a base in your next adventure!

NXUS Modern Architecture Series

NXUS Modern Architecture Series is one of the most detailed and realistic modern creations which is being built specifically for Minecraft Pocket Edition. The project started over a year ago and has since then grown into an amazingly detailed city consisting of skyscrapers, office buildings, a huge science center, embassies and a fully working metro system. It’s an endless source of inspiration and generally a mind-blowing city to explore.

12 Useful Farms in Survival Mode

All of the following farms can be built in a survival world. However, it does require quite a bit of effort to obtain the necessary blocks and items to get one up and working. There are both semi-automatic farms and ones which are entirely automated, meaning no human intervention is necessary to keep some of them going and producing.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog is a speed-based platform game. This is a parkour map for Minecraft Pocket Edition which uses a similar type of level design and it also uses command blocks to give the players different effects such as speed and jump boosts. It’s a pretty fun map to play, and especially if you got some friends which you can compete against.

Make sure to let all players join before starting the game. There’s no countdown built in so you’ll need to do that part yourselves. It’s important that you always step on the pressure plates since they’ll enable/disable different speed boosts.

OpenBlock Elevator

This elevator is a recreation in Minecraft PE of the Elevator Block which exists in a (PC) mod known as OpenBlock. It’s still an early version which lacks some of the major functionalities but an upcoming update will address that by providing a more complex (but yet easy to use) solution. Either way, it’s the ultimate elevator solution to use for your worlds or Realms.

The contraption uses three different commands to allow this elevator to function properly.

Stand on the iron block and then jump to go to the next floor.

You can continue to the third floor by jumping again.

The third floor is for this particular elevator the top floor. From here there is just one way to go and that’s down.

Nightmare Difficulty Mobs

This is a command block map which gives several of the mobs in-game some new abilities which will greatly increase their difficulty. It’s a really cool and unique map which explores some of the new possibilities with command blocks for mobs specifically. The map provides a great source of inspiration which you can use for building adventure maps and alike.

Make sure to turn on the machine by pressing one of the buttons on one of the walls of the machine. If you are experiencing a lot of lag at any point while using the machine then you can press the OFF button to kill all processes.

Once you’ve turned on the machine and selected one of the mobs on the other wall (e.g. slime) then you can start by spawning a mob.

Each mob has a unique set of additional powers which greatly increases its ability to cause damage. For example, slimes will jump much higher and also leave a trail of slime blocks in its path.

Husks wear a full diamond armor and they are also equipped with a sword. And as if that wasn’t enough they also surround themselves with a ring of lava.

Spiders spawn a bunch of cobweb around them which might accidentally get you trapped.

There are bunch of other mobs which also have special abilities but those I will let you explore by yourself in-game!

TreeHouse

This map is perfect for anyone who’ve always wanted to live in a tree and experience an existence somewhat similar to that of Tarzan. There are plenty of houses too which means that you can bring a bunch of your friends to live with you up among the trees. None of the houses provide any furniture and blocks so that’s something you probably want to start out working on.

Redstone Realms

This map features 9 different command block creations which are very useful if you want more smart ways to protect your Realms server. Anti-grief, banned items and a simple shop are some of the interesting creations which you will be able to check out and learn how to implement in your own worlds. It’s really a must-play for anyone with a server!

All of the following command block creations require that there is a command block somewhere in the nearby proximity of the area which you want protected.

Anti-Grief: This is very useful for areas which you want protected. Such areas could include the server hub, player houses or anything else.

Anti TNT: TNT can be placed down but there is no way that you will be able to ignite it. As soon as you try it will disappear from the face of the earth.

Secret Door: The door will automatically open once a player stands on the block in front of it, and then close when no one is there.

Simple Shop (Automatic): Set up a simple shop which sells items for emeralds. Players will only be able to buy the item if they’ve got the currency required for making the purchase.

There are a few other command block creations which are also them very useful in case you want to better protect your Realms server. But those I’ll let you explore by yourself in-game!
