Working Quarry (Command Blocks)

This is a useful command block creation which lets you spawn a quarry machine which will automatically mine an area of 7×7 blocks and collect the item into a chest. Since it’s using command blocks it’s only possible to use this for worlds where you can enable creative mode since it’s required for obtaining the command blocks.

Press the button on the side of the command block machine to spawn a chest. The chest contain the necessary items which you will need for spawning the quarry. Use the quarry (cow) spawn egg to build the quarry.

Then toggle the lever on the command block machine to start mining the blocks. All of the mined blocks will drop down the hopper into the chest. You can stop the machine from mining by using simply using the same lever again.

Murder Mystery Mansion

Murder Mystery is an exciting multiplayer minigame where players have different assignments based on the roles they are given. The murderer has the vicious role of killing off the other players without being caught. The sheriff has the important role of quickly finding the murderer (and killing him) before more innocents are slain. All of this takes place in a huge mansion so there are lots of places to hide.

This map is recommended for 3+ players, but preferably many more. At least in case you want to make sure to fill all the different roles. Once everyone have joined a server it’s recommended to either hide the chat (by hiding the HUD in settings), setting everyone’s name to the same name or using the No Nametag Addon.

Once everyone are ready then press the Start button to begin the game. Next everyone will be assigned a random role.

Each role is a little bit different so make sure to read the description for each one above. The game automatically stops after a set amount of time has past.

Mob Arena Battles 1: Revamped Edition

This is a PvE arena map where you are challenged to fight hostile mobs in four separate arenas. You can either team up with up to five friends or play it alone to harness your skills in battle. There are plenty of different classes (with unique kits for each) and it’s definitely one of the best maps you can play if you are up for a hard challenge.

The first thing which you should do is to take some time to read the instructions in the lobby. Once you’re done with that then it’s time to select a class.

Don’t forget to set a difficulty level before ultimately starting the minigame.

The arena battle won’t really start until you’ve press a button in the arena for it to start. However, the waves are automatic so you have to be fairly quick to kill the enemies because quite soon another wave is going to spawn.

The only downside which perhaps could be fixed for another update or a sequel is to make the arenas larger. It gets crowded quickly, especially if you are multiple people playing the map. But that also surely creates some intense and fun gameplay.

Mob Arena Battles 1: Revamped Edition is based on the original Mob Arena Battles 1 which is another map created by the same creator (but under a different name back then). This map was created to bring it back in a new flavor and a sequel are likely to come out soon!

Redstone Neighborhood

This map features one large house built in a flat plains landscape with lots of beautiful terrain surrounding it. Most parts of the house include some type of redstone mechanisms. For example, the garage doors can be opened and closed and the bathroom has a fully working shower (and it’s nothing similar to what I’ve ever seen before).

Since it’s called the Redstone Neighborhood you can most likely expect more houses to fill up the surrounding area in the future!

Inside each garage you will find two buttons which you can use to open or close the garage doors.

The TV can be turned on and off by the use of the remote controller (also known as button positioned on top of the couch). You can also toggle the lights.

The bathroom is my favorite part of the house. It’s nothing better than a nice shower after a long day of hard work!

There’s also a kids room. It doesn’t have any impressive redstone functionalities but it definitely looks pretty nice.

Simple BattleShip [PvP]

This is a multiplayer minigame map where each team will be tasked to build a ship. The ships will later be used in a battle on the sea so it’s important that they are well armored and equipped with some TNT cannons. It’s a really fun and exciting map to play if you enjoy building and PvP!

The first challenge is to build a ship. For this task you will be in creative mode which means that you can build it using any type of blocks you want. Make sure to add some TNT cannons as it will be useful for the next challenge.

You are only allowed to use flammable blocks for building your ship (e.g. wood). Bedrock, iron and similar blocks are strictly forbidden!

Once both teams are done building their ship then it’s time to enter the battle zone.

The battle zone will automatically contain the ships which each team have built. Find your way to your ships and then start fighting! It’s over once one team is killed or a ship is destroyed.

A Good Survival House

This house is suitable for anyone who want to start a new survival adventure. No cheats have been used for building this house which means that you can use it and still be able to earn achievements. The house has everything which you could possibly need such as lots of storage space, a bed for sleeping and even a portal to the Nether. If you like medieval styled architecture then you’ll love it!

Castle Adventure

This map features a castle built on top of a medium sized mountain. Guarding the castle are skeletons equipped with armor gear and bows. One way that you can play the map is as a short adventure where your objective can be breach the castle and steal all the diamonds. But you can also just use it as your own outpost or for whatever else use you find for it.

To get to the main castle you first need to cross a bridge. There you will find a bunch of skeletons positioned on various different spots. If you are in survival mode, then they definitely will shoot at you.

Once you start exploring the houses behind the wall of the castle you will notice that there are clearly some weird ritual stuff going on there.

There’s a small village by the base of the mountain.

The Redstone Academy

The Redstone Academy should be the first stop for anyone who find themselves struggling with redstone or just want to learn more about it. It’s primarily used for building different types of machines and structures which main goal is to achieve things more efficiently.

People have built everything from complex computer systems to more basic setups such as automatic farms and it’s truly just your imagination which sets the limits. This map will teach you the basics of redstone and at the end test your skills.

As soon as you’ve spawned it’s important that you take some time to read the signs. There are four different stages of The Redstone Academy. First off you will learn some about redstone and the functionalities. And then later on you will be going through a few puzzles which require redstone to be solved.

EverySoundInMCPE

This map supposedly includes all the different sounds which are included in the original version of the game (meaning, no external resource packs are required). You can play each sound by pressing a button on a command block and there are signs with information about each sound. It’s especially useful for map makers who want to add sounds to their own maps.

As soon as you’ve spawned you will find tons of command blocks. There is a button on each block which when pressed will play the sound. You can check the command required for playing the sound by pressing the command block.

Hospital (Horror!)

You wake up and find yourself in a hospital, but it’s soon clear that it’s not an ordinary hospital. The lights are almost completely out and it’s barely possible to see anything. But don’t worry, there’s a night vision camera in one of the chests to help you see better. But the question is, do you really want to see see the things around you? It’s going to be scary, I promise you. Jump scares are inevitable!

It’s quite dark all throughout the map. If you don’t like the dark then find the camera in a chest and use it to easier navigate around the hospital and find a way out. You can use the camera simply by tapping with it on the ground. There is a limited battery length for each camera so make sure to use them sparingly.

Don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything else.

The camera user interface (battery icon, REC text) will only be visible for smaller devices. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t really have any use so it doesn’t matter. On tablets you might only see the green area.
