EVASiON

EVASiON is a challenging puzzle map with a unique storyline. The creator of the map has managed to creatively use features and objects in Minecraft to create map specific features, such as a high score system with gold ingots and more cool things.

Storyline

EVASiON is a secret laboratory in which you have been imprisoned in. You are set through a high number of tests and puzzles and the tricky part about the whole thing is that you got no idea what you are doing in there. The ultimate question is if you will make your way through the tests or die trying?

Save the Christmas

Shulkers Challenge

The Shulkers Challenge is a minigame which can only be played in version 1.0 of Minecraft Pocket Edition (Android alpha version only). The minigame makes use of a hostile mob called a shulker. Its speciality is its ability to shoot projectiles which makes the player levitate. In this map you will have to find a way up to the top by getting shot by levitation projectiles.

Shulkers will shoot projectiles at you which will make you levitate upwards. The objective is to get to the top without dying.

But it’s easier said than done because the projectiles will hurt you a little each time you are hit.

On the way up there are multiple “health stations” which you can take advantage of by pressing the stone button to get a splash of health potion shot at you.

It’s a long way up but eventually (and likely after some deaths) you should be able to get up there and complete the challenge!

Elite Gliders

Elite Gliders is an elytra map which is best played in multiplayer. It consists of one long elytra course and you must always stick to the track and fly through the rings. The main objective is to beat the other players by collecting the most nether stars (assuming that you play in multiplayer).

This map can be played either by yourself or against your friends. The objective is to collect as many nether stars as you can. The nether stars are hidden in chests which you will find throughout the map.

The player who have collected the most nether stars and completed the entire elytra course is the winner.

Working Brewing Stand

The brewing stand is a block in Minecraft which can be used for brewing potions. You can then consume the potions to gain temporary powers such as increased strength or agility. This is a redstone map which recreates the block on a much bigger scale. And since it’s entirely powered by redstone you can actually use it to brew potions!

You can get the brewing ingredients from the chests. Drop the ingredients in the hoppers to add the ingredients to start brewing the items.

Once you’ve added the ingredients and something to power the brewing stand (e.g. blaze powder) then it will start working by itself.

However, to retrieve the items it looks like you need to press the “Click to finish!” button as this will complete the process.

As soon as that is done you can retrieve the finished items from the chests which open up at the bottom of the structure.

You can examine the way the structure has been built by going around the structure. There you will find a big opening which you can enter through and look at the redstone.

This is what the brewing stand structure looks like from afar. As you can see, it is a brewing stand on top of a birch wood block.

Enderdads Epic Elytra

This map is one of the most challenging elytra maps currently available for Minecraft Pocket Edition (alpha version 1.0). There are no checkpoints and underneath you there is a consistent flow of hot burning lava. Traps and hostile mobs are common and you can’t do much to avoid either other than continuously dying and by each try slowly learning the dangers of the map.

Find the items in the chest and think of a way out of your prison cell. Hint: lever!

Find the access point for the elytra course, jump off the ledge and press the jump button once again to activate the gliding feature for your elytra wings. Try to avoid the obstacles and find a way down to the Nether portal.

Elytra MStyler777 2

This map features four different obstacle courses which need to be completed before you can consider yourself a true elytra champion. Elytra wings are one of the new features in version 1.0 of Minecraft Pocket Edition (only available for Android as a beta). The wings can be attached to your body (as a chestplate) and then be used for gliding.

Begin by choosing a level. I recommended beginning with the easy ones and the gradually level up as you complete more levels.

Before you jump off the platform to use the elytra wings make sure you’ve got one added to your chestplate armor slot. Press the jump button in air to activate the wings to start gliding.

Redstoney

In this map you will face 25 different puzzle challenges and each one of them is in some way related to redstone. Get your wheels spinning and try to complete all of the challenges. Don’t worry though, there’s no time limit so you can spend as long you want in each level. Right now it’s only available for 0.17 for Minecraft PE because some of the blocks used in this map are exclusive for that version.

The instructions how to play the map can be found in-game. They are very straightforward. If you complete a level then type /setworldspawn in the text chat and you will save a checkpoint which you will be teleported to if you fail (also known as die) on a level.

Elytra Championship

Elytra Championship is a an elytra wings map where you need to fly through rings in order to complete the levels. The objective is always to be first to the finish line and the one with most wins is the ultimate elytra champion. It can be played for anywhere between 1 – 4 players.

Begin by choosing a team. There are four different to choose from: red, yellow, green or blue. You will only be allowed to go through rings which are of this color. Anyone doing otherwise must start over the current level.

Make sure that all players read and understand the instructions and rules at the beginning of the map before starting.

Pull the lever to start the redstone countdown.
