Mixed Up (Addon!)

Mixed Up is an adventure map in which you must complete a series of challenges set in the past, present and future. You’ll be going through portals and wormholes to access different realities and it’s a great story to come along with the experience. If you are fascinated by time-travel then you definitely have to give this map a try!

CommandParkour

This is a short map which consists of five easy parkour levels. It’s mostly a showcase to demonstrate how command blocks can be used (in version 1.0.5) to create awesome parkour maps with no interruptions. Some features include automatic checkpoints and text announcements on the screen to display rules and similar information.

28 Redstone Creations

This redstone map features 28 different redstone creations. Most of which include at least one of the new redstone features like pistons and observers blocks which are available in version 0.15 of Minecraft Pocket Edition. It’s a great map to get some inspiration for things which you can build in your own worlds.

The Pop-up Chest is the perfect solution for keeping your stuff safely hidden away. Every time the button is pushed a new chest will pop-up.

Build this Chest Trap to make sure griefers and other intruders get what they actually deserve: a bath of lava.

If you want to make a floor or some type of platform only accessible for certain people then you can build this Piston Staircase. The staircase can be turned on and off by using a button.

If you are a building a storage room for all your treasures then you probably want to add some security to it. Here’s a simple system for locking and unlocking all of your chests by the use of one simple button. Even when the storage is locked up they are still visible but you won’t be able to open them.

Redstone is great for building secure and smart machines but it can also be used for creating funny things like this slime trampoline.

This is a Semi-Automatic Farm. Pull the lever to release the water and have all the wheat automatically collected in a chest. You will need to plant the seeds yourself though.

Here’s another type of hidden stairs but in this case it’s 2×2 instead of 1×1.

The Lava Bridge is a safe system for keeping monsters out at night. For example, build a lava moat around your house and switch it on during the night. No monsters in the Overworld can survive burning lava.

This creation is just something which you can use to have some fun. Stand on one of the pressure plates and be automatically pushed around by the piston and slime blocks.

It’s not just a fireplace. It’s actually a hidden door which leads down to some stairs.

The Cake Trap is a really useful invention for trapping other players. Once they have stepped into the trap there’s no way out as the pistons will be activated as soon as they step on the pressure plates and block them from getting out.

Here’s a super secure double lock door.

Besides these there are plenty of other creations in the map.

Weaponized Atlas Robot

The Weaponized Atlas Robot is the latest and most advanced weapon technology in the Minecraftian universe. Basically it’s an enormous robot powered by redstone which can walk and shoot fire charges at the same time. It’s not easy to build but it’s definitely a great weapon to fight swarms of monsters or other intruders who you want demolished.

Automated Racetrack

This is by far one of the best horse racetrack map available for Minecraft Pocket Edition so far. It’s entirely powered by redstone and it includes a short horse tutorial, a stable, a training course and a highly advanced racing track which have lots of fun obstacles and other things to make the experience very fun.

Before entering the racetrack go to the horse paddock and select one of the horses which you want to tame and ride.

Sit on the horseback and try to ride it until you see some hearts – that’s when you know it’s tamed. Then long-tap on the horse and press Open to equip the saddle on the horseback.

You can also go to the stables and find an already tamed horse to use.

Take one of the leashes from the chest and attach it to the horse and lead the horse to training course.

Once you are done with the training continue to the racetrack.

Before entering the actual racetrack you have to toggle some levers to decide how many players will be in the race and also how many laps you want to ride.

Each player must stand on his pressure plates with his horse in order for the countdown to begin.

Sky Survival Islands

This map spawns you on a skyblock island with very little resources. It’s up to you to use whatever survival skills you’ve got to survive for as long as possible. If your intention is to survive (which it should be) then I highly recommend that find ways to explore the other islands as they will provide the necessary resources you’ll need for your survival.

You will start out on a small skyblock survival island. The objective is to find a way to survive and gradually explore the other islands across the map. It’s not just the blocks you can use to survive but there is also a mob spawners which make sure you never run out of mobs.

There is no real end goal other than surviving for as long as you can.

My Brain Hurts

This map features 7 medium-easy puzzle levels. In each room you will be presented with a problem which needs to be solved in order to gain access to the next level. For example, sometimes you will need to craft blocks or items and other times you simply need to figure out a fairly basic puzzle problem. This map is most suitable for beginners who haven’t played many puzzle maps yet.

Treehouse

Always dreamed of living in a tree house? Well, here’s your chance! This map features a really nice tree house which is located deep in a forest. It is several stories high and includes many useful rooms and balconies used for everything from enchanting to storage and sleeping quarters. It’s a useful map if you are looking for some place to live but don’t want to build it yourself.

DanTDM’s Lab

DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart) is one of the biggest Minecraft YouTubers out there. This map is a replica of the new lab which Dan uses in his Let’s Play videos in which he is usually accompanied by his loyal companion Dr. Trayaurus.

There is one downside though. It’s built in a flat world and this means that you can’t really use it for a survival adventure. Other than that it is really cool map to explore if you are a fan of The Diamond Minecart!

Sumo!

This is a minigame map which is recommended for two players. The objective is to use a sword to knock off the other player from a platform. It’s inspired by sumo wrestling but this is obviously a simplified version of that. Don’t expect anything huge or amazing. It’s just a fun and clever little minigame!

There are no specific guidelines which you must follow but let me explain the idea of the map.

In the lobby area you will find two different chests. One of the chests contain Wooden Swords (Knockback II). Let each player retrieve a sword from the chest, take the trapdoor from the other chest and the jump down into the arena.

Place the trapdoors over the water. The water was just necessary to make sure you wouldn’t lose any health when jumping down into the arena.

Stand in the center of the arena and face your opponent.
